THEORETICAL PAPER SEARCHIN’ FOR SOUL The theoretical work gives an insight into the world of the record collectors. The emphasis lies on the sorting and archiving of large collections and also putting together and compiling of single pieces to create an individual collection. Another focus of the theoretical work is the description, history and development of record mailorder. |

PRACTICAL WORK As part of the practical work an online record mailorder shop was created which satisfies the search preferences of record collectors. The data base queries are triggered through an interactive interface, which recalls associations with regular record store displays and wall decorations. Here can be seen some screenshots and pictures of the design process. |
