This singer is really outstanding. When you like artists like KITTY WINTER or RAFFAELA RENZULLI, I would recommend checking out Norbert Gottschalk, because he is the next level in high quality Scat Vox Jazz with Brazilian flavor. LP contains 8 incredible Vocal Jazz tunes, some with a light Brazilian tingle.
Unfortunately Norbert Gottschalk haven't found a big audience in the Germany of the 80tees and so also this LP, released on the tiny VOGUE label, was an ultra rare, strong limited, release what is near impossible to get today.

Hard to find first record from the dance show touring in Germany and Holland called BRASIL TROPICAL, released on the seldom REX label recorded in RIO. Contains the club vocal tune "E NANA", well known, because it was on some compilations, but also various nicer tracks for example the killer Batucada tune "BATUCADA TROPICAL" very recommendable!
Another, later, very nice LP by BRASIL TROPICAL. Contains the nice flute track “CAFEZIAL” and the wonderful vocal tunes “CANTO DE OSSANHA” and “DINDIN” sung by SALOMÈ DE BAHIA.

On this scurrile Swedish LP I discovered a real club killer called “BETA SAMBA”
I played in the last time a couple of times at my DJ Sets and the people really love it. An amazing club tune, really essential for DJs that also play European Brazil flavored stuff! A true must!

Another lovely LP by Mani Neumeiers GURU GURU formation that includes a really interesting sound mixture with Afro, Latin and Brazil infused Fusion and Jazz-rock tunes. Listen for example to “DA WEE” a 5,12 minute Brazil flavored vocal tune with strong Percussion.
Ultra rare release of the JOHANN WOLFGANG GOEHTE UNIVERSITÄT FRANKFURT. Strong limited just for the College-age-group of 1985. This LP contains tunes by the College-Big Band and from other Jazz and Rock Formations from the College.
Contains amongst others a very lovely version of “AQUA DE BEBER” by the College-Big Band with the wonderful voice of ELKE DIEPENBECK and a strange version of “LET GO” by BADEN BOWELL sung by the Group FLOY-DAY.

The Trio members WOLFGANG ENGSFELD, GUNNAR PLÜMER and MICHAEL WEISS brings here 6 jazz tracks of the highest level, sometimes free with longer solo parts. Two tunes “SAMBA DU COMMERCE” and “CALYPSO” has this typical feeling that we love, when German Jazz artist composing a SAMBA tune! Highly recommendable!
Ultra rare Swedish Fusion Jazz LP, when my information is correct, there were only 1000 copies available, and this is one of them. Many persons have this one on their want lists cause of the track “BOSSES SAMBA” but there is much more good stuff on it.

Yes, that’s the LP with the amazing voice of HALINA FRACKOWIAK. Contains many Great tunes with strong Percussion Parts that remembers a little bit on the INCREDIBLE BONGO BAND from Michael Viner. But also Beat, Jazz and Brazil flavored tunes can be found on this LP.
Important tunes on this LP are dance floor nuggets like “ZU DUZO CHCESZ” or the percussion Break overloaded “WSPOMNIENIE Z SOPOTU” and not to forget “PREZEMINELO Z WIATREM TYLE DNI” with vocals by WOJECIECH GASSOWKI.

Very rare and hard to get outside of Europe . Funky Fusion Afro Latin Jazz with many percussions and duelling Voodoo Drums. Musicians are: Barbara Thompson, Roy Babbington, Derek Wadsworth, Ian Hammer, Bill Le Sage, Glyn Thomas, Henry Lowther, Trevor Tomkins, Peter Lemer.
Most recommendable tracks are “CUBAN THING” and "BLACK PEARL”
A really wonderful Jazz Fusion record on the German MPS label contains many great Jazz tunes performed by really genius musicians around GEORGE DUKE like Airto Moreira, Leon Ndugu Chancler, Kerry McNabb, Alphonso Slim Johnson for example. The lovely vocals on the strong Latin flavored tune “MALIBU” are sung by Sylvia St. James and Kathy Woehrle.
My other favorite on this LP is the vocal track “FOR LOVE”
A really nice and seldom LP on the tiny German NABEL label, which is well known for high quality Jazz and Brazil releases. On this LP by the group NAIMA (Theo de Jong, Jochen Schmidt, Markus Wienstroer, Gerhard Jeltes) are 6 lovely Jazz tunes all with a nice vibraphone parts. My favorites are “FAMILY WALK” and the light Brazil flavored Fusion tune “FREE DANCE!
Rare East German vocalised Latin and Jazz record. USCHI BRÜNNING brings us high quality and funky vocal stuff for dance floor. Wonderful scat vocal workouts with Latin flavour and a touch of fusion. Somehow a kind of style like ANNE HAIGIS was performing in West Germany . Please listen to the 2 sound samples of “HIGHER“ and the wonderful cover version “YOU ARE THE SUNSHINE OF MY LIFE“ but these are only two of 13 wonderful tracks, most of them are cover versions arranged by Eberhard Weise, also included is a nice version from the Bossa classic "THE GIRL FROM IPANEMA".
Another ultra rare and in demand LP on the German Intercord label. Otto Weiss, Walter Günter and also Members from the Combo around Kitty Winter like Kuno Schmid, well known from Kitty Winter - Gypsy Nova. Many good Hammond organ stuff and a lot of Bossa and Brazil tunes, but most wanted it’s for the Hammond Bossa “KITTY’S LITTLE SONG”.

A wonderful East European Jazz LP, contains many great funky Jazz Scat Vocal and Bossa tunes like “ROSEMARY’S BABY”, “SAMBA” or the verry similar “TICO TICO” with nice vibe parts played by Bernhard Maseli. But my alltime favorite is the funky club tune “PAPAYA” comes great at a late hour!
This one is really amazing and ultra rare, too. It’s a strange mix of Rock, Fusion and Vocal Jazz. It cont. the lovely cool down tune “MONOTONE” with crazy vocals in the middle of the track. A real catchy tune!

Here we have a crazy German QUADROPHONIE compilation from 1973. There are also other German artists like the well know BERRY LIPMAN ORCHESTRA. But the best is that it contains a tune from CHARLY ANTOLINI’S POWER DOZEN it’s a mix of „YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION“ and the Latin Killer „UELA UELA“ wirtten and arragend by Eric Thöner. One of those Dutch Brazil productions, contains some nice cover version of Brazilian classics by Jorge Ben like “PAIS TROPICAL” or “FIO MARAVILLIA”. But the best is the lazy and dope club tune “MALARIA FIEBRE”, comes great at a late hour!

Rare German record from the "Zweitausendeins Verlag" recorded at Frankfurt/Germany. Candela features German, South American and Caribbean musicians and this is also the style of this formation, a mixture of something between Salsa, Jazz, Rock, Samba, Afro....and some other kind of styles!
